Today/ This week my class have been learning metaphors. There were 4 choices, snow, wind, hail and lighting. A metaphor is a way of comparing two things.
I did wind what we had to do was watch a youtube and them write a metaphor poem about the weather that I chose.
Fantastic job on your poem portia i can tell that you used metaphors!I have always wondered what it would be like to be as strong as the wind!Why did you choose to dp wind not snow,hail or lighting?one suggestion would be to make the writing that explains what you did a little bit bigger because it was really hard to read!But other than that i think you did an awesome job!

Portia your poem really made me think when you said "The touch of wind is the stront human is the world." I've always wanted to know what is was like to feel wind dissipate. How is the wind so mighty? perhaps next time when you are writing below you should double check, because when you said "we had to watch youtube" that didn't really make sense to me I would write "we had to watch a youtube clip/video" I am not trying to offend you I just wanted to make a suggestion.`

I always wondered what it would be like to be the wind. what I would like to know is why did you chose to write about the wind. perhaps next time the writing that you explained to us, you could make it a bit bigger. my favourite sentence that you did was he mighty wind is powerful.
